The Knight Rangers were founded in 2023 by Tristan “Runaway Cheetah”, Julien “Thunder Lion”, and Neville “Whispering Dragon”. From the beginning, our vision has been clear: to create a circle where dads and sons step beyond the ordinary and discover what it truly means to adventure together.

 

What makes the Knight Rangers unique is our openness. Not every family has camped before, and that’s part of the magic. We welcome both seasoned outdoorsmen and those pitching their first tent. With the support of our circle, even families brand new to camping quickly find comfort, confidence, and real joy in the experience. California is our playground, and we take full advantage of its breathtaking variety. One month you’ll find us sleeping under the stars at the beach, the next hiking forest trails, exploring mountain camps, or gathering around a fire in the desert. Every backdrop brings its own lessons, laughter, and stories that will live on long after the trip is over.

 

But more than the settings, it’s the spirit that defines us. We thrive on challenge, embrace the elements, and celebrate triumphs together — big and small. Through monthly gatherings, epic campouts, and special events, the Knight Rangers forge bonds that help boys grow into confident young men and remind dads of the joy of living fully in the moment with their sons.

 

Today, you’ll find the Knight Rangers at schools like St. Anne in Laguna Niguel and St. Edward in Dana Point, with families from across Ladera Ranch, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Mission Viejo, and San Juan Capistrano. Together, we are more than just a circle. We are a brotherhood, a family, and a story being written one adventure at a time.
